Course description:

The 1-day Handgun course is designed specifically for newer female shooters. The course provides a technical and practical understanding of the safest and most effective techniques currently used to handle and operate modern handguns.

The course will cover gun nomenclature, proper safety and handing of firearms, and proper techniques for effective shooting.

Narrative and Equipment Required:

The CTT-Solutions pistol program of instruction is designed to give shooter-specific answers based on operational experience of multiple vetted military/ LE /civilian sources, testing and historical data.

All techniques taught are safe, simple, efficient and effective.

Course requirements:

• a quality handgun with holster of either 9mm/40S&W/.45ACP caliber

• at least 2 magazine pouches and 3 magazines

• Pants or shorts with a sturdy rigid belt suitable for all-day holster carry is required.

• Tinted eye protection for day use

• ear protection required. (**if indoor range, doubling up on ear protection with foamies and electronic ear muffs is highly recommended.)

• Hat or baseball cap (that does not interfere with hearing protection) strongly suggested.

• Closed toe, comfortable shoes

• Crew neck tops/no low cut or v-neck

• Hydration and snacks

• Ammunition: 300 rounds required. We suggest 500 rounds just to have extra … we expect you’ll enjoy the steel shoot at the end of the day!
