You’ll shoot the classifier for hit factor and then go through a series of drills to exercise the component skills and then reshoot that classifier to see your progress.
This two-day training is my signature course. It is a fast-paced course designed to give attendees not only the technical, but the practical understanding of the effective employment of their pistol from a covert concealed location. This course is based upon training Mike received while a member of the 1st SFOD-D, training and instruction provided to the Federal Air Marshal Service (while serving as the Head Range Instructor at the F.A.M.S. School), the Chief In-Service Instructor at the Seattle Field Office of the F.A.M.S., as well as being taught and utilized during protection operations in Iraq and refined for a course recently taught to high-level Special Operations Forces assets prior to high threat deployments involving covert operations. The goals of this course are designed to safely make the student an extremely competent legal concealed pistol carrier (civilian, law enforcement or military) and provide a foundation of drills and concepts for the student to maintain his/her skills at their own range. This course is geared toward all civilian, law enforcement and military personnel involved in detective work, undercover operations, covert surveillance operations, V.I.P. protection details, as well as every day off-duty or legally permitted carry.

2-day pistol and/or carbine is an extremely fast-paced course combining much of the individual 2-day pistol and 2-day carbine courses, combined with hard-earned experience running motorized PSD in the heart of the Sunni Triangle during 2003-’04, as well as motorized combat operations in Al Anbar province in 2005. The pace of training will be dictated by the level of experience, but it is highly recommended that an Alias instructor taught pistol or carbine course has been taken previous to attending. It will deal extensively with encounters during entry and exit from vehicles as well as strategies for getting from your vehicle with all occupants and moving to a safer and more tenable position.
